Kane Kuhtti’s story begins in Lawton, the Southwest Oklahoma city where music became a lifelong practice.

Kuhtti told KSWO that she arrived from Germany in 2003 and was raised in Lawton. Relationships formed there put her in studios, while her own experiences with trouble and personal change became material for R&B writing.

Change as a public practice

The 2023 “Off Top” video placed a real Lawton police officer inside a story about change and community connection. Kuhtti described the collaboration as part of a larger effort to show young people a purpose beyond street conflict.

Her work has also moved through Oklahoma City, Tulsa and Atlanta relationships. A 2026 Lawton performance listing confirms that the hometown circuit remains active. The public record supports a regional artist whose growth keeps returning resources, stages and attention to Southwest Oklahoma.
