Artist profile

Pressure, honesty and the work of feeling again.

Keylo Nsane is a Chicago-born, Seattle-based rapper, storyteller and media founder. Born at Cook County Hospital and raised near Monroe and Leamington on Chicago's West Side, he grew up seeing music and activism intersect through his father, Chicago musician and street activist Murda 1.

His catalog moves between hard-edged trap, story-driven street records and emotionally raw melodic songs such as Feel Again and Leaving Me. Off the mic, he is the founder and CEO of FVTV Media, formerly known as Family Views TV.

Long bio

FROM THE WEST SIDE TO AN INDEPENDENT MEDIA LANE.

Keylo Nsane is an independent rapper, writer and media voice whose music lives at the intersection of street reality and emotional honesty. Raised on Chicago's West Side, he came up in an environment where violence, survival and creativity were part of the same story. His father, Murda 1, gave him an early view of music as entertainment, testimony, protection and community expression.

Influenced by artists including Twista, Lil Wayne and Tupac, Keylo started recording as a teenager and developed a style that combines technical rapping, memorable hooks and precise storytelling. After relocating to Seattle, he carried his Chicago identity into a new scene and began building a bridge between Midwest grit and Pacific Northwest energy.

Across projects such as Supply-N-Demand and Life Is Nsane, Keylo has moved between hustle records, street narratives and reflective songwriting. His current music pushes further into numbness, loss, vulnerability and survival without abandoning the direct delivery that anchors his catalog.

Keylo treats each song as a chapter in a larger story that runs from Chicago's West Side to Seattle, from the prison yard to the studio, and from personal survival to building an independent media company.

Background and origins

CHICAGO DETAIL. SEATTLE MOTION.

Specific locations, family relationships, incarceration and lived situations give Keylo's writing a documentary quality. His dual-city identity connects Chicago-rooted storytelling and technical flows with darker Northwest atmosphere.

Sound and style

STREET REALISM WITH FEELING.

Heavy 808s, tense percussion and ominous synths drive the harder records. The melodic work leans into heartbreak, loyalty, numbness and the effort to regain emotional feeling, with direct hooks built for full songs and short-form moments.

2026 release campaign

TERO

LOYALTY, FAMILY AND THE COST OF SURVIVAL.

Strictly for the Streets arrives August 15, followed by the ten-track TEROalbum on a September 18 target date. TERO is dedicated to Keylo's brother, who is incarcerated until 2030, and connects street records with personal songs about family, grief, incarceration and the long-term cost of the life surrounding the music. Feel Again is the public entry point into that more vulnerable chapter.
