FIFFGENKATO USES VISUAL ALBUMS TO PUT OKLAHOMA CITY INSIDE THE CAMPAIGN

Plead the FIFF and The Answer turn project releases into a connected system of films, performances and regional collaborations.

FiffGenKato’s recent work treats an album as something to see as well as hear.

The Oklahoma City rapper moved through Plead the FIFF with a full-project visual strategy and a close circle of collaborators including SauceMeUpGQ and Frontline Hudson. “Oklahoma County” made the regional frame explicit.

A visual distribution system

The Answer extends that method through another full-album upload, videos including “AIGHT,” performance content and collaborations that keep the release active across multiple formats.

That approach gives an independent artist more than one entry point for an audience. Video, performance and social promotion become a distribution system built around identity instead of an afterthought added after the music drops.
