Suited and Booted Turn the Dance Floor Into a Workout on “Never Too Old To Thrust”
Suited and Booted commit to the bit on a novelty dance record built like a workout class, with call-and-response moves made for a crowd to follow.

Suited and Booted made a novelty dance record that commits to the bit so hard you end up respecting it. Right up front, “Never Too Old To Thrust” sits nowhere near rap, and it knows exactly what it is. It throws on the headband and runs the whole class from the first count.
The song opens like a fitness pitch, selling you on what the next three minutes will do for your core and your glutes. Around 0:42 the scat-style refrains kick in, and by about 1:18 the title hook takes over the room. The best stretch lands near 1:41, a call-and-response run of moves that plays like choreography written for a crowd to follow. Wedding receptions and Zumba instructors are going to find this one.
The energy never dips across the full 3:20. At about 117 BPM in A major it sits right in that bounce where people who swear they don’t dance start moving anyway. As feel-good craft it’s well built, and you can hear that whoever made it had fun doing it.
Now the notes. It’s one joke stretched long, and the back half repeats without adding a new wrinkle. The fitness framing also narrows where the record can live, since it’s built for the gym and the party more than for the car ride home. That’s worth saying plainly, and none of it kills the fun, because the commitment is the whole charm.
It’s sitting on our Rap Radar playlist now as the left-field pick. So what’s the verdict, is anybody ever too old to thrust?
