MIDDEKO & Hann Turn “FALLINLUV” Into a Distorted Alt-Rap Pressure Cooker
Distrust, work and attraction collide inside a dense, restless collaboration.
“FALLINLUV” does not sound interested in making romance comfortable. MIDDEKO and Hann push the record through a dense, distorted alt-rap mix while the writing keeps circling distrust, money pressure, anxiety and the pull of wanting somebody anyway.
The track moves fast and stays loud. There is very little empty space in the mix, which fits the emotional tension in the verses. Work, survival, suspicion and attraction keep colliding until the title phrase starts sounding less like a celebration and more like something the record is arguing with.
MIDDEKO described the release as a mix of alternative rap, electronic and punk energy with Y2K and visual-kei influence. That direction comes through clearly in the finished track, especially in the bright top end, compressed intensity and short runtime.
“FALLINLUV” was released August 21 through thirdeye as a collaboration between MIDDEKO and Hann.
