MIDDEKO & Hann Turn the Love Song Inside Out on “FALLINLUV”
Distrust, work and attraction crash into each other inside a dense, restless collab.
“FALLINLUV” has zero interest in making romance comfortable. MIDDEKO and Hann push the record through a dense, distorted alt-rap mix while the writing keeps circling distrust, money pressure, anxiety and the pull of wanting somebody anyway.
The track moves fast and stays loud. There’s barely any empty space in the mix, which fits the tension in the verses. Work, survival, suspicion and attraction keep crashing together until the title phrase starts sounding like an argument the record is having with itself.
MIDDEKO described the release as alternative rap, electronic and punk energy with Y2K and visual-kei influence. You can hear that direction all over the finished track, especially in the bright top end, the compressed intensity and the short runtime.
“FALLINLUV” dropped August 21 through thirdeye as a collaboration between MIDDEKO and Hann.
