Jas Ali Calls Out the Skaters and Riders by Name on “SHOW DAT,” and the Floor Has to Answer

Fort Lauderdale rapper Jas Ali gives a hard-drumming dance-rap track the kind of call-out energy DJs can use in a live room.

Some songs ask to be played. Jas Ali's “SHOW DAT” expects you to answer back. The drums ride out front and hit hard, and the hook pulls up like a roll call for everybody already moving. Direct, physical music, made for a room that participates, with no wallflowers allowed.

The Fort Lauderdale rapper's official site pegs her as a songwriter who keeps her verses personal. On “SHOW DAT” she points all that presence outward. The delivery is cocky in the right way, the rhythm shoves, and the sample-led production keeps the pulse locked through its roughly three-minute run.

The bridge is where it gets clever. Ali calls out different groups, skaters and riders among them, and it works as a DJ weapon as much as a lyric. A crowd hears its own name and the song stops being background noise and becomes part of the night. Picture it at a skating rink or a packed local party and it clicks immediately.

The hook bounces, the drums land hard and Ali's flow rides the beat like she owns it. None of those pieces is complicated alone. The craft is snapping them together fast enough that people react before they have time to overthink anything.

The same strength sets up her next test. Party commands can own a night, but an artist's point of view is what keeps a record in rotation once the lights come up. The more Jas Ali threads her own voice through production this useful, the harder it gets for anybody else to claim her lane.

“SHOW DAT” is a performance-first introduction that already knows who it's for: a hook built for a live reaction and a bridge made to pull every corner of the floor together. A good DJ can smell a record like that from across the room.
