5DIRTYVON’S FIRST THREE YEARS TRACE A FAST-MOVING OUTWEST CHICAGO ARC
From “NightLife” and OverThought to 2026’s “I Get Lonely,” the catalog pairs West Side identity with emotional expansion.

5DirtyVon’s timeline is short enough to watch the creative turns happen in real time.
The West Side Chicago rapper released “NightLife” in 2023 and reached a first full-length project with 2024’s OverThought. Love & War and 5 Days of Judgement followed in the same year, widening the frame from introduction to a sustained catalog.

An emotional frame getting wider
By 2026, “I Get Lonely (Im Trippin)” made the emotional language more explicit. That shift matters because emerging Chicago artists are too often reduced to toughness and geography. Isolation, desire and self-examination belong beside local realism.
Current releases including “I Know” show the run is still active. The catalog does not need borrowed status to make its case: 5DirtyVon has already moved from an introductory single into multiple projects and a more vulnerable current chapter.
